Jose G. Hernandez, P.E.

As Managing Partner for REDC, Mr. Hernandez was the Owner’s Representative over the
construction of luxury seaside condominiums and town homes. He performed a post construction
audit of 240 condo units and 12 residential units. Hr. Hernandez also performs expert witness
services on construction projects. He managed numerous Hilton and Sheraton Hospitality
Remodel Projects. He participated in numerous Wal-Mart Remodel Projects throughout the U.S.
He has managed the design and construction of numerous remodel and maintenance projects for
condo unit owners, condo HOA’s and Townhome Associations.
As Vice President of Construction and Operations for Catalfumo Inc. Mr. Hernandez was the
Project Executive on the construction of a five-story condominium, eight story corporate office
facility, and (2) two story office buildings.
He managed the construction of North Broward Preparatory School. 6,500 sq ft. classrooms
complex. The project was completed in 53 days, fastest constructed project in the history of
Catalfumo Inc.
 
While working with Office Depot as the Midwest Regional Design Manager, he was responsible
for the building rollout programs; 40 ground up stores, 28 Kids”R”Us conversions, remodels,
reverse built to suit, shell take over, copy print centers and convention center kiosks.
 
As the BSW Int. Account Manager for Wal-Mart International, he supported the Wal-Mart
International Director of Design by identifying, qualifying and managing country specific design
and construction counterparts. Setting up and implementing country specific processes and tools
and the preparation of engineering and architectural design criteria and document standards. He
also managed the integration of new management and design development tools for Wal-Mart
and Sam’s Site Development Consultants (English and Spanish translations); Geotech’s,
surveyors, environmental and civil engineering consultants.
For specific International Wal-Mart projects, he performed direct negotiations with
governmental authorities related to all aspects of development, demolition, design, abatement,
hydrology studies and construction.
As Director for BSW International, Mr. Hernandez was responsible for the design standards of
care on Domestic and International projects for Albertsons, Sam’s and Wal-Mart. He managed a
design production team of 65 bi-lingual, multi-discipline design professionals in Proto
Development, Project Site Adaptations, Proto Change Management and Construction
Administration.

Mr. Hernandez was also responsible for the standards of care of the RE/SD services for the
company as well as training and managing a staff of 11 Mexican professionals that serviced The
Church of Jesus Crist of Latter Day Saints (LDS) Chapel Program in Mexico. (50 total for 1999-
2000 Program).
He also oversaw and participated in the design development of a 150,000 sq. ft Cochabamba,
Bolivia Temple Project located In Monterey Mexico and another 150,00 sq. ft. project located in
Cochabamba Bolivia. He located, qualified, contracted and managed all local design consultants
and contractors on behalf of BSW International and the LDS. He Coordinated feasibility and
permitting issues surrounding the Temple Project with high-ranking Government Officials and
Utility Service Providers on behalf of the client. He also participated as Local Project Manager
for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints
As a Partner with Regency Wycliffe L.L.C. Mr. Hernandez spearheaded the planning and design
developed of a 1.5 million sq. ft. multipurpose Retail project, partnering with Auchan Hyper-
markets in Buenos Aires Argentina. He also spearheaded the planning and development of a 29-
acre Retail Power Center (Parque de la Reconquista) in Buenos Aires Argentina. The projects
were not constructed due to political and financial unrest.

adaptations, proto management and construction administration.
 
- Specializes in analyzing client’s program or project needs: real estate, site development,
entitlements, design, permitting and construction.
 
- Specializes in implementing Engineering and Architectural solutions that are cost
effective and functional for non-traditional projects or programs.
 
- Develops client specific processes, tools and schedules that focus on identifying and
resolving key issues and cost premiums at the front end of the project development
cycle. Clearly defining project and program deliverables and responsibilities per
development phase to make project or program outcome predictable and manageable.
 
- Client Representative in negotiations with governmental authorities related to all aspects
of development, demolition, design, abatement, hydrology studies and construction.
 

- Identifying, qualifying and managing country specific design and construction
consultants. Manages the preparation of engineering and architectural design criteria
and document standards for specific Retail and Corporate clients.
 
- Site Development; Preliminary site analysis, field study analysis, cost estimates and Civil
Engineering construction documents.
 
- Architecture; Architectural design; Programming, preliminary design, schematic design,
cost estimates, construction design and construction administration.
 
- Value Engineering of 3rd party construction documents, processed, tools and systems. He
also performs expert witness services on construction projects.
